Jessica’s teaching journey…
From the moment Jessica graduated from The Canadian College of Performing Arts in 2004, she has been teaching in one form or another. Her passion for sharing her experiences and knowledge with emerging theatre artists has continued to grow as she herself grows as an artist. Initially, her career started as a dancer/choreographer, thus her teaching was centered on traditional dance forms such as jazz, contemporary, and musical theatre. As Jessica’s career transitioned more into theatre her offerings started to include movement direction, physical theatre, contact improvisation, crowd direction, and movement for actors. Over the past five years she has grown more interested in theatrical intimacy, devising theatre, acting, and puppetry.
